A builder with 30 years of experience and an expert on how to cut costs and maintain quality, he is an eloquent and entertaining speaker who shows city officials, and trade and consumer audiences, how to create better buildings while saving time and money. Pagés' unique approach to homebuilding comes from years of research and experience in developing better and more efficient, environmentally-sound methods of construction. His company has won numerous national awards including the 2008 "Green Building Single-Family House of the Year" and the 2007 "Workforce Housing Award" from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

He is also a regular contributor to Fine Homebuilding and the Journal of Light Construction . Pagés is the president of Brighton Construction in Lincoln , Nebraska and Sheridan , Wyoming . He has been featured in the New York Times, Dwell, Better Homes & Gardens , HGTV, National Public Radio, and other national media.
