Energy Savings Account (ESA) Program

The Vermont Public Service Board has established an option for eligible Vermont business customers to self-administer energy efficiency through the use of an Energy Savings Account (ESA). The ESA option allows Vermont business that pay an Energy Efficiency Charge (EEC) in excess of $5,000 total per year (or an average $5,000 total per year over three years) to use a portion of their EEC to support energy efficiency projects in their facilities.
